The group came into really excited about making our own paper. We kept the structure of the free play before the session and yard at the end. Here are some photos of the paper making:
I made up some screens by cutting a hole in tinfoil plates and stapling in plastic netting. We blending the torn bits of paper in a food processor and added the pulp to big basins. Then we set up stations so we all working in small groups – stirring the paper pulp, dipping our screens into the mixture and dragging them up to the surface. We left to dry on the window sill untill next week. It is absolutely brilliant having so much help in each session.
