Today I brought in copies of each group’s script. Once we had read each scene in turn we talked a little bit about the difference between reading and performing.
Then each group found their own space in the hall and began to rehearse. Some scenes were quite complex and needed a bit of help, while other groups had clear ideas about how to stage their scene.
We are back in tomorrow to finish rehearsing and to present our scenes to each other. I asked the children to bring in any props or costumes they thought would help their scene.
